Welcome to the Exploratory Hanseatic Days in Tartu!   Tartu Hanseatic Days are held from July 20 to 22.   In addition to joyous history festivities, this year’s Hanseatic Days offer many opportunities to partake in the world of science – the Science Town will be opened once again on Toome Hill, and moreover, Tartu will be announced as the World Capital of Physics on the midday of July 20 at the opening of the Hanseatic Days. On that day, close to a thousand participants of the International Physics Olympiad will be in town that day – both the visitors and townspeople can explore Tartu in the Science Town, Ahhaa Science Centre and Jaani Town.
